4400 - Season 1 _HOT_

But to that point, does Logan really still not believe the 4400 have traveled through time? You'd think he's have come to terms with it by now. But hey, at least he's still doing all he can to help out, even if he doesn't fully comprehend what exactly is going on with them.

4400 - Season 1

It all makes sense now, with the clocks written in on the hotel walls, and Hayden's message in 4400 Season 1 Episode 1. Manny's ability (as some had predicted already) is invisibility. Whoever or whatever gave Manny this ability knew what they were doing.

A mysterious new company, BHN, has taken a vested interest in the 4400, even going so far as to buy the Bois Blanc hotel. Shanice doesn't even seem to know what they do or what BHN stands for. Could they have something to do with why the returnees went missing in the first place?

It's so vastly different in tone. Even the look is different. The first version was bleak, featuring the muted tones of cloudy Seatlle (filmed in Vancouver). This 4400 is vibrant and alive, with music and bright colors popping off the screen.

It does feel a little strange to start the story of the 4400 over again. The original yarn was well-spun, and the ending was a cliffhanger. It was a casualty of many issues, chiefly the 2007 Writer's Strike.

The whole scene is played sensitively and sweetly. Shanice and Andre have had such a deep, mutually respectful friendship until now. It makes sense to progress it. They've come a long way since 4400 Season 1 Episode 1 when he mistook her for a secretary!

Whatever/whoever took and returned the 4400 them clearly had some kind of reason behind it, but it remains a mystery. But it's something that celebrates and champions the marginalized and disenfranchised owning their power.

Keisha is right to be suspicious. If there are less than scrupulous people among the 4400, with superpowers developing, that could spell danger to the populous at large. At least she's finally coming around to the idea that these people are actually who they say they are.

There's got to be some kind of surveillance or tracking device in the phones that are being distributed. The more "modern" 4400 will probably figure this out quick enough, but it might spell trouble for some of the less technologically-inclined.

I wanted more of Keisha and Shanice -- that scene got cut off too soon! It's just great to see Keisha connecting with the 4400 on a more human level and for Shanice to have someone else to open up to about her relationship (since Andre is now too emotionally involved to offer impartial advice).

Of course, women can't go out without being harassed. Keisha's suspicions about Claudette were confirmed -- but now, with the state of things, she's not likely to say anything to the higher-ups. With Jessica no longer in charge, Jharrel and Keisha are going "rogue" in order to make sure the 4400 are safe.

In flashbacks, we see that the aliens tried to abduct Kyle originally, but Shawn interrupted the abduction and got himself taken instead. Knox is captured and stuck in an X-Men style box, while Diana discovers that the names and addresses of the 4400 are now public, and Tom finds Shawn standing over a very much awake Kyle.

The new reboot, which simply goes by "4400," borrows the initial storyline from the original show, which focused on a group of missing people from different time periods who mysteriously reappear on the same day. However, the CW's version has made many significant changes.

"The 4400," originally released on USA Network, was about a group of 4400 missing people from throughout history who all reappear on a single day in 2004. As federal agents and the people themselves try to work out how this happened, it is revealed slowly that each individual came back with supernatural powers.

The original series starred Mahershala Ali, who would go on to win two Oscars, and it was nominated for three Emmys in 2005 after its first season. The show was canceled in 2007, ending on a big cliffhanger at the end of season four, with no official reason reported for the cancelation at the time.

Season 1 of The CW's reboot seems to be going down a similar story path with missing people arriving from the past on a single day in 2021 and each of them developing abilities. However, instead of federal agents monitoring them, the 4400 are being monitored by the police, a social worker, and a parole officer after being locked up in a hotel.

Created by Ariana Jackson, who previously worked on "Riverdale," the show's ensemble predominantly features Black actors like Joseph David-Jones, who plays Jharrel, the social worker tasked with helping the displaced assimilate to present-day life; Ireon Roach who plays Keisha, the parole officer paired with Jharrel who is more suspicious of the new-comers than he is; and Amarr as Hayden, one of the 4400 who lived as a quiet awkward kid in the 1940s. He was previously locked in an asylum before suddenly showing up in 2021.

"4400" does not stop its representation at diversity within the cast. It tells in-depth stories about marginalized communities. For example, T.L. Thompson plays Dr. Andre Davis, a doctor displaced from the 1920s who is just learning what it means to explore their gender identity. They may be falling in love with Shanice Murray, a lawyer who was displaced in 2005, seemingly abandoning her husband and infant daughter, who is now a teenager.

Themes related to mental health, police brutality, and oppression are explored through the fact that the members of the 4400 that we meet in Detroit are being closely watched and sometimes abused by police and the government.

"4400" is making positive changes in its reboot of the critically-acclaimed "The 4400," but part of what makes reboots appealing is seeing faces from the original show. The CW version will follow this trend when actor Patrick John Flueger steps into a recurring role starting on the 12th episode of the first season, set to air on February 7.

Per Deadline, Flueger, who played Shawn Farrell, one of the 4400 that receives the ability to heal or drain life in the CBS version, will play a character named Caleb in the reboot, who is only described as "a charismatic figure from one of the '4400's' past."

The sci-fi series The 4400 originally ran on USA Network from 2004-2007, but The CW is about to reboot it with a brand new title. The new iteration will be known simply as 4400, which I have to imagine makes Justin Timberlake's The Social Network character very happy. (That guy loves it when you drop the "the.") Here's everything we know about the upcoming reboot so far.

4400 is currently set to premiere on October 25, 2021. If you have a cable subscription, you'll be able to watch it as it airs on The CW, and new episodes will be streaming for free on The CW app the day after they premiere.

A reboot of the USA Network series The 4400, CBS Studios' 4400 will focus on "4400 overlooked, undervalued, or otherwise marginalized people who vanished without a trace over the last hundred years [who] are all returned in an instant, having not aged a day and with no memory of what happened to them. As the government races to analyze the potential threat and contain the story, the 4400 themselves must grapple with the fact that they've been returned with a few...upgrades, and the increasing likelihood that they were all brought back now for a specific reason."

The 4400 TV show ran on USA Network for four seasons and was cancelled before it could get a proper conclusion. Now, 14 years later, The CW has rebooted the series. Will this version last any longer or, have a proper ending? Will 4400 be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned. *Status update below.

In 4400, over the last century at least 4,400 people who were overlooked, undervalued, or otherwise marginalized vanished without a trace off the face of the planet. Last night, inexplicably, they were all returned in an instant to Detroit having not aged a day and with no memory of what happened to them. As the government races to understand the phenomenon, analyze the potential threat and contain the story, Jharrel (Joseph David-Jones), an empathetic social worker, and Keisha (Ireon Roach), a hardened community corrections officer, are among the civil servants called upon to deal with the uncanny refugees.

They have not aged a day and have no memory of what happened to them. As the government races to analyze the potential threat and contain the story, the 4400 themselves must grapple with the fact that they've been returned with a few "upgrades", and the increasing likelihood that they were all brought back now for a specific reason.

As the 4400 become even more disenchanted with their accommodations,... More new rules have everyone on edge. Andre and LaDonna help Claudette push her newfound ability to new limits. Shanice gets an unexpected visitor.

Finally there is some good news for a few of... More the 4400. Andre looks to study some of his new friends but mistakes from his past begin to affect him in present day. Rev finds some information about his son. 041b061a72
